Have you heard that before? You will probably here it each time you return to your room. The owner should be very pleased with his staff. They are very helpful and thought full. As we waited for a taxi to our night train, they went to the kichen and made us a picnic dinner. That is hospitality!!!

We have returned from staying at the Elizabeth Hotel in Hanoi in October and had to let everyone know about the warmth, friendliness, hospitality and integrity of Hoa, Tu Anh and the rest of the staff. On a few occasions Hoa arranged accommodation for us despite it being difficult. He was always willing to go to extra lengths to ensure everything we requested was provided. We booked a tour to Halong Bay which only went smoothly because, unbeknownst to us, he discovered one of our party forgot to take his passport and sent it along to the guide so the trip could still proceed. The location is excellent, the services great and the staff outstanding. We were even asked our opinion on redecorating a room! This would be the only hotel we would stay in again if we are lucky enough to return.

Traveler rating: Hanoi: Elizabeth hotel : Cam68Perth, Perth Oct 07, 2007 Elizabeth Hotel is the Best ! My wife and I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Tu Anh and his staff/partners are simply excellent at what they do. They are friendly, sincere, knowledgeable and have great senses of humor. We felt as though we were staying with old friends the whole time we were at the Elizabeth hotel. Hoa organised our airport pick up and drop off, and a fantastic overnight tour on Halong bay aboard the "Santa Maria". Our first day of the tour, Hoa contacted our tour guide on the boat, to make sure we were OK and enjoying ourselves. He also gave us excellent tips on where to eat and what to see in Hanoi. As well, we just paid for everything on check out, including the tour, which was really convienient. The hotel has nicely decorated, clean and comfortable rooms. Our room was also amazingly quiet considering how busy the old quarter is. Our room was cleaned every day and we were provided with fresh fruit and the breakfasts were great as well. We didn`t want to leave Elizabeth Hotel and hope to be back there soon. Cam and Lisa (Australia)

My sister and I stayed at the Elizabeth Hotel in Oct. 2007. It was our first visit to Vietnam and our first hotel experience there. It was without a doubt the best place we stayed during our month in Vietnam. The management and staff looked after our every need, booked flights, trains, tours and with great efficiency and care. The rooms were comfortable, clean and we loved having access to internet in our room! What we most appreciated was the friendliness and great sense of humour of the staff, we have never been so warmly welcomed. On our last day we departed for Hanoi Station to take the overnight train, we had just gotten out of the cab when we saw the hotel manager pull up on his motor bike, he wanted to give us some sandwiches and fruit to take on the train as we`d been on a tour that day and hadn`t had time to get anything to eat, he helped us with our luggage and accompanied us to the train. Incredible! We`ll never forget the kindness and generousity of the fine management of Elizabeth Hotel. It`s an experience we`ll never forget.
